For World Beautiful Business Forum, Athens 2026, I collaborated with performer and singer Lori Baldwin as composer for her one of the characters – Discord – in her live presentation New Mythologies.
Discord is a goddess of friction, rupture, and necessary tension. She is unsettling, but familiar. A force we fear, resist, and ultimately need. The Greek myths were written roughly 2,700 years ago, yet their stories still echo through language, popular culture, and the collective imagination. But we have already entered an age of new gods — entities that receive our devotion, attention, offerings, speculation, and fear.
What are the myths we are building around them? How do these gods interact with humans? What happens when we give them a body, a voice, and place them in a room with us?
